Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a global insurance brokerage in seeking a Regulatory Insurance Attorney to join their team on a primarily hybrid engagement. While hybrid candidates are preferred, strong fully remote candidates will also be considered.

Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a global insurance brokerage in seeking a Regulatory Insurance Attorney to join their team on a primarily hybrid engagement. While hybrid candidates are preferred, strong fully remote candidates will also be considered.
Role Details
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 4–6 months, with potential for extension
- Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Location: Hybrid preferred in Arlington, VA; Philadelphia, PA; New York, NY; or Nashville, TN
- Remote candidates will be considered
- Pay Rate: Starting at $85 hourly, dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
- 5–10 years of relevant corporate and commercial legal experience; prior in-house experience is a plus
- Experience with insurance regulatory law, including:
- Property & casualty insurance (including surplus lines) and/or
- Health and benefits (including employee benefits)
(Experience in both areas preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with reinsurance laws and regulations is a plus
- Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing
- Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school

- Ability to clearly summarize legal issues and present actionable recommendations to leadership
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Results-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
