Candidates located in or near Dallas, Texas are strongly preferred. Engagement Details Start: ASAP Duration: Indefinite Hours: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week Location: Fully remote (Dallas-area candidates preferred) Compensation: Starting at $65/hour, commensurate with experience Responsibilities Review, redline, and negotiate aviation-related contracts supporting operational, leasing, and vendor relationships Provide legal support for airport operations, including procurement, concessions, vendor agreements, and facility-related transactions Advise on contract structures and risk considerations specific to the aviation and airport operations environment Ensure agreements comply with applicable FAA contractual and regulatory requirements Collaborate with internal business and operational stakeholders to support ongoing aviation operations Required Qualifications Demonstrated aviation legal experience is required Strong familiarity with aviation operations and airport-related legal transactions, including procurement, leasing, concessions, and vendor agreements Working knowledge of FAA contractual requirements and regulatory considerations impacting airport and aviation operations Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and issue-spotting skills Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment LOD is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
