Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a global insurance brokerage in seeking a Senior Trademark Attorney to join their team on a long-term, fully remote engagement.

Role Details
  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration: Long-term, indefinite
  • Hours: 20–30 hours per week
  • Location: Fully remote
  • Pay Rate: Starting at $95 hourly, commensurate with experience

Position Overview
The client is seeking a senior-level attorney with deep experience in trademark and intellectual property law to support its in-house legal team. This role will focus on managing and advising on a global trademark portfolio, while also supporting emerging legal issues related to AI and technology contracting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on a wide range of trademark and IP matters
  • Manage trademark prosecution, defense, and renewals across an international portfolio
  • Provide strategic guidance on brand protection and risk mitigation
  • Support AI-related legal issues and emerging regulatory considerations
  • Draft, review, and negotiate IT and technology-related contracts
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and outside counsel as needed

Qualifications
  • Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction (in good standing)
  • 10+ years of experience in trademark and IP law
  • Strong experience managing global trademark portfolios
  • Familiarity with AI law and technology contracting is preferred
  • Excellent communication, drafting, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
