Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a law firm in seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney to join their team on a long-term, indefinite engagement. This role is primarily onsite in Orlando, Florida, though strong hybrid candidates will be considered.
Role Details
Start: ASAP
Duration: Long-term, indefinite
Location: Onsite in Orlando, FL (strong hybrid candidates will be considered)
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Pay Rate: Starting at $65/hour
Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and demand letters
Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review and discovery responses
Prepare for and take/defend depositions
Work with expert witnesses and assist with trial preparation
Collaborate with litigation teams on case strategy and execution
Qualifications
Active Florida bar license, in good standing
5+ years of commercial litigation experience
Experience handling either construction litigation or healthcare litigation matters is required
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience with iManage, Litify, Epoch time management, and insurance defense billing narratives is a plus
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
