Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a law firm in seeking an experienced Finance Document Review Attorney to support a long-term remote engagement focused on structured finance, UCC matters, and related transactional work.
Role Details
- Start: ASAP upon completion of conflicts clearance
- Duration: Long-term, duration TBD
- Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Location: Remote, though candidates must reside within 2 hours of one of the following office locations:
- Princeton, NJ (must be licensed in NJ)
- New York, NY (must be licensed in NY)
- Hartford, CT (must be licensed in CT)
- Pay Rate: $45–$55/hour, commensurate with experience
- Equipment: Firm-issued laptop provided
Responsibilities
- Support matters involving:
- UCC filings and related transactional work
- Securities and securitization matters
- Structured and leveraged finance transactions
- Private equity financing transactions
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial and financing-related agreements
- Assist with corporate transactional matters, closings, and financing activities
- Handle SEC, UCC, and Investment Company Act (“40 Act”) housekeeping tasks
- Provide support on e-discovery and document review projects as needed
Qualifications
- Active bar license in the applicable state of residence/work location (NJ, NY, or CT), in good standing
- Experience with:
- Structured finance
- Leveraged finance
- Securitizations
- Corporate transactional work
- UCC-related matters
- Strong drafting, contract review, and negotiation skills
- Prior remote document review experience required
- Tech-savvy with ability to work efficiently in a remote environment
- Excellent responsiveness, communication skills, and attention to detail

- Candidates must be able to provide complete conflicts history dating back to law school graduation
