Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a national fast-food restaurant chain in seeking an Indirect Supply Chain Attorney to join their legal team on a fully remote, part-time engagement.
Role Details
Start: ASAP
Duration: Long-term, indefinite
Hours: Part-time, approximately 25–30 hours per week (with flexibility for additional hours based on business needs)
Location: Fully remote
Pay Rate: Starting at $75/hour
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to:
Equipment procurement and maintenance
Professional services
Vendor and supplier relationships
Indirect procurement and operational support services
Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to procurement and supply chain stakeholders
Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks
Support ongoing contract management and vendor relationship initiatives
Collaborate with internal business teams to ensure efficient contract execution and compliance
Qualifications
Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating:
Equipment contracts
Professional services agreements
Procurement and vendor agreements
Other commercial contracts unrelated to food supply
Strong commercial contracting and risk-assessment skills
Ability to work independently and manage a fluctuating workload
Responsive, business-minded, and comfortable partnering with cross-functional stakeholders
Prior in-house experience supporting procurement or supply chain functions is a plus
