Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a national fast-food restaurant chain in seeking a Marketing & Advertising Attorney to join their legal team on a fully remote, part-time engagement. This is a long-term opportunity supporting a broad range of marketing, advertising, promotions, and brand-related legal matters.
Role Details
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Long-term, indefinite
- Hours: Part-time, approximately 25–30 hours per week (with flexibility for additional hours based on business needs)
- Location: Fully remote
- Pay Rate: Starting at $75/hour
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of marketing and advertising-related agreements, including:
- Sponsorship agreements
- Influencer and social media agreements
- Advertising agency agreements
- Promotional and marketing services agreements
- Advise business stakeholders on advertising, marketing, and promotional campaigns
- Review and support sweepstakes, contests, and promotional programs
- Provide legal guidance on social media initiatives and digital marketing activities
- Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks associated with advertising and promotional activities
- Collaborate with marketing, procurement, and business teams to support brand initiatives
Qualifications
- Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing
- Significant experience handling:
- Advertising and marketing matters
- Sponsorship agreements
- Social media and influencer-related legal issues
- Sweepstakes, contests, and promotional programs
- Commercial contract drafting and negotiation
- Strong business judgment and ability to provide practical legal advice
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent drafting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- Flexible and responsive, with the ability to manage changing priorities and fluctuating workloads
