Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a national fast-food restaurant chain in seeking an IT Contracts Attorney to join their legal team on a fully remote, part-time engagement.
Role Details
Start: ASAP
Duration: Long-term, indefinite
Hours: Part-time, approximately 25–30 hours per week (with flexibility for additional hours based on business needs)
Location: Fully remote
Pay Rate: Starting at $80/hour
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of technology and commercial agreements, including:
Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) agreements
Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
IT consulting agreements
Professional services agreements
Technology vendor and procurement contracts
Identify and mitigate contractual, operational, and business risks
Advise internal stakeholders on technology-related contracting matters
Support vendor management and procurement initiatives across the organization
Collaborate with legal, procurement, IT, and business teams to facilitate contract execution and compliance
Qualifications
Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing
Significant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating:
SaaS agreements
MSAs
IT consulting agreements
Professional services agreements
Vendor and technology contracts
Strong commercial contracting and risk-assessment skills
Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
Flexible and responsive, with the ability to manage changing priorities and fluctuating workloads
