Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a national fast-food restaurant chain in seeking an IT Contracts Attorney to join their legal team on a fully remote, part-time engagement.
Role Details
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Long-term, indefinite
- Hours: Part-time, approximately 25–30 hours per week (with flexibility for additional hours based on business needs)
- Location: Fully remote
- Pay Rate: Starting at $80/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of technology and commercial agreements, including:
- Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) agreements
- Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
- IT consulting agreements
- Professional services agreements
- Technology vendor and procurement contracts
- Identify and mitigate contractual, operational, and business risks
- Advise internal stakeholders on technology-related contracting matters
- Support vendor management and procurement initiatives across the organization
- Collaborate with legal, procurement, IT, and business teams to facilitate contract execution and compliance
Qualifications
- Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing
- Significant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating:
- SaaS agreements
- MSAs
- IT consulting agreements
- Professional services agreements
- Vendor and technology contracts
- Strong commercial contracting and risk-assessment skills
- Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible and responsive, with the ability to manage changing priorities and fluctuating workloads
