Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a global home goods retailer in seeking an experienced Technology Contracts Attorney to support its legal team on a long-term, fully remote engagement.

Duration: 6–12 months
Hours: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
Location: Fully remote
Compensation: $90/hour
Responsibilities
Draft, review, redline, and negotiate a broad range of technology agreements, including SaaS, AI, and other vendor and technology-related contracts
Advise internal stakeholders on contractual risks and business considerations associated with technology transactions
Review and negotiate agreements on both company and vendor paper
Apply the client's contract playbook and templates while exercising independent judgment when agreements fall outside standard positions
Negotiate key terms and appropriately push back on unfavorable or non-standard provisions
Advise on data privacy and cybersecurity considerations within technology agreements
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to efficiently resolve contractual issues and support business objectives
Candidate Qualifications
5+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating technology and commercial agreements
Strong experience with SaaS, AI, software licensing, and other technology agreements
Knowledge of data privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations as they relate to technology transactions
Comfortable negotiating vendor paper and advocating for the client's interests in complex or non-standard negotiations
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and legal drafting skills
Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing, is required
