Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a class action law firm in seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its team on a long-term, fully remote engagement. Candidates must be licensed in California.
Role Details
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6+ months
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Location: Fully remote
- Compensation: $90–$95/hour
Responsibilities
- Draft and review briefs, motions, pleadings, and other substantive litigation documents
- Manage all aspects of written discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
- Take and defend depositions
- Prepare, file, and oppose motions
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
- Manage assigned matters and litigation deadlines from discovery through resolution
- Collaborate with attorneys and litigation team members on complex class action matters
Candidate Qualifications
- 3+ years of litigation experience, with class action experience strongly preferred
- Experience handling substantive litigation matters, including:
- Brief writing and motion practice
- Written discovery
- Depositions
- Legal research and case strategy
- Filing and opposing motions
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Active California bar license, in good standing, is required
- Class action experience is strongly preferred
