Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a software organization in seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Attorney to support its legal, compliance, and privacy functions on a fully remote basis.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Location: Fully Remote
Compensation: Starting at $120 hourly, dependent on experience
Responsibilities
Support commercial and corporate legal matters for a growing software organization.
Draft, review, and revise commercial agreements and related legal documentation.
Develop, update, and maintain company-wide compliance policies and procedures.
Support data privacy and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and address legal and compliance considerations.
Provide guidance on corporate compliance requirements and applicable regulatory matters.
Assist with the implementation and ongoing management of privacy and compliance programs.
Translate legal and regulatory requirements into practical policies, procedures, and business practices.
Collaborate with internal business teams to ensure policies and compliance processes are effectively implemented.
Qualifications
Experience as a Compliance Attorney or Compliance Professional with a strong background in corporate compliance.
Experience with policy development and implementation, particularly company-wide policies.
Knowledge of data privacy and regulatory compliance matters.
Experience supporting privacy, compliance, or governance programs.
Strong ability to manage and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technology environment.
Commercial contracts experience is strongly preferred given the scope of the role.
