Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a boutique consumer protection law firm in seeking licensed attorneys to join its team as Intake Attorneys on a fully remote, full-time contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys client interaction and helping individuals navigate challenging situations. The firm will provide training on the relevant legal issues and intake process, so prior experience with residential solar agreements or consumer protection law is not required.
Engagement Details
Start Date: October 2026
Initial Duration: 90 days, with possibility of extension
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Location: Fully Remote
Compensation: $35/hour
Responsibilities
Conduct intake meetings with clients who are seeking assistance with residential solar agreements and potential exit strategies.
Listen carefully to clients’ concerns, circumstances, and objectives.
Ask thoughtful follow-up questions to gather relevant facts and information.
Prepare accurate, organized, and detailed notes following each intake meeting.
Communicate with clients in a professional, empathetic, and approachable manner.
Help clients feel heard and supported while gathering the information necessary for the firm to evaluate their matter.
Follow established intake procedures and apply training provided by the firm.
Maintain reliability and consistency while managing a full-time schedule of client interactions and related documentation.
Qualifications
Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing.
Strong communication and active listening skills.
Demonstrated empathy and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals who may be experiencing stressful or difficult circumstances.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document client conversations.
Dependable, organized, and able to consistently meet scheduling and documentation requirements.
Comfortable conducting client meetings independently in a fully remote environment.
Ability to maintain professionalism and sound judgment when interacting with clients.
Prior experience in consumer protection, solar agreements, or this specific area of law is not required; training will be provided.
