Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a large financial institution in seeking an experienced Financial Services Attorney to join its legal team on a long-term, fully remote engagement.
Engagement Details
Start Date: ASAP
Duration:12+ months (long-term engagement)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Location: Fully remote
Compensation: Starting at $120/hour, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
Handle securities broker-dealer litigation and arbitration matters, including FINRA-related disputes
Support litigation strategy and case management in coordination with internal stakeholders and outside counsel
Conduct legal research and draft high-quality pleadings, briefs, and memoranda
Analyze regulatory and litigation risks and provide practical, business-focused legal guidance
Manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
Qualifications
5+ years of relevant legal experience in financial services litigation or arbitration
Demonstrated experience handling securities broker-dealer litigation and arbitration matters in a law firm and/or in-house setting
Prior experience with an AmLaw 100 law firm and/or a corporate legal department strongly preferred
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Superior written and verbal communication skills, with strong research and drafting capabilities
Outstanding academic credentials and a proven professional track record
Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing
