Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a large financial institution in seeking an experienced Financial Services Attorney to join its legal team on a long-term, fully remote engagement.

Engagement Details
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 12+ months (long-term engagement)
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Location: Fully remote
  • Compensation: Starting at $120/hour, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities
  • Handle securities broker-dealer litigation and arbitration matters, including FINRA-related disputes
  • Support litigation strategy and case management in coordination with internal stakeholders and outside counsel
  • Conduct legal research and draft high-quality pleadings, briefs, and memoranda
  • Analyze regulatory and litigation risks and provide practical, business-focused legal guidance
  • Manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant legal experience in financial services litigation or arbitration
  • Demonstrated experience handling securities broker-dealer litigation and arbitration matters in a law firm and/or in-house setting
  • Prior experience with an AmLaw 100 law firm and/or a corporate legal department strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with strong research and drafting capabilities
  • Outstanding academic credentials and a proven professional track record
  • Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing
