Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a large financial institution in seeking an experienced Financial Services Attorney to join its legal team on a long-term, fully remote engagement.
Engagement Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 12+ months (long-term engagement)
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Location: Fully remote
- Compensation: Starting at $120/hour, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
- Handle securities broker-dealer litigation and arbitration matters, including FINRA-related disputes
- Support litigation strategy and case management in coordination with internal stakeholders and outside counsel
- Conduct legal research and draft high-quality pleadings, briefs, and memoranda
- Analyze regulatory and litigation risks and provide practical, business-focused legal guidance
- Manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant legal experience in financial services litigation or arbitration
- Demonstrated experience handling securities broker-dealer litigation and arbitration matters in a law firm and/or in-house setting
- Prior experience with an AmLaw 100 law firm and/or a corporate legal department strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with strong research and drafting capabilities
- Outstanding academic credentials and a proven professional track record
- Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing
