Our client. a global corporation, is seeking a privacy attorney to join their team on a remote engagement through September, and likely to go longer. In this role, the attorney will serve as the legal lead resource in the region on data protection and privacy matters involving privacy laws in the U.S. (i.e., CCPA, other state privacy laws, HIPAA, GLBA), Canada (i.e., PIPEDA and provincial laws), and elsewhere globally (i.e., GDPR). The attorney will also negotiate data protection terms for client and supplier agreements in accordance with standard positions, working with internal  teams and client’s counsel. Finally, with support from the privacy team, the attorney will provide leadership and guidance to local Country Privacy Officers in the Americas region on new data protection law implementations and other privacy projects.

Hourly Rate: $95

Requirements 
5+ years' experience privacy counseling
Active bar admission in any US state
