Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a law firm client in seeking an experienced Managing Attorney to join their team on a long-term, temporary basis.
Role Details
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 4–6 months
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Location: Fully remote
Compensation: Starting at $80/hour (commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and refine case workflows, ensuring timely progression from intake through settlement.
Monitor ServiceCo dashboards for intake, records, and vendor performance; identify and address deficiencies.
Track and stay current with MDL and state court developments, updating SOPs to ensure compliance with CMOs and deadlines.
Serve as primary client contact for case milestones, records status, and settlement updates.
Negotiate with referring counsel, co-counsel, and lien resolution vendors.
Review and analyze performance metrics (e.g., time-to-file, cost-per-case) to optimize processes and budget allocations.
Train and mentor staff on CMOs, fact sheets, and best practices for client communication.
Requirements
Licensed to practice law in Arizona (active and in good standing) – required
3+ years of litigation experience in healthcare or mass torts (plaintiff-side strongly preferred)
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Proven ability to stay highly organized and manage multiple deadlines in a complex caseload
