Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a law firm client in seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney for a 1–3 month temporary engagement. This role will be hybrid in Atlanta, and candidates must be able to commute to the office as needed.
Position Details
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 1–3 months
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Location: Hybrid (Atlanta, GA)
Compensation: Starting at $90/hour, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
Independently manage the full litigation lifecycle, including:
Client intake and case evaluation
Drafting demand letters, complaints, motions, and briefs
Preparing and responding to discovery requests
Taking and defending depositions
Managing meet-and-confer processes and correspondence with opposing counsel
Handling occasional court appearances as required
Conduct thorough legal research and draft clear, persuasive legal documents.
Develop effective case strategies and provide high-quality client service.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient case progression.
Candidate Requirements
5+ years of litigation experience in one or more of the following areas: trusts and estates, fiduciary duty claims, business disputes, breach of contract, employment, or real estate litigation.
Active Georgia bar license in good standing (required).
Demonstrated ability to handle complex litigation matters with minimal supervision.
Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Strong communication, organization, and client relationship management skills.
