Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a boutique law firm in seeking an experienced Corporate/Tax Attorney to join their team on a part-time, long-term, indefinite engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong corporate and tax experience to work remotely with a growing practice.
Role Details
Start: ASAP
Duration: Long-term, indefinite
Hours: Part-time (approximately 20 hours per week)
Location: Remote
Pay Rate: Starting at $90 hourly, commensurate with experience
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in corporate law, taxation, and transactional work, including M&A. The attorney will support a range of corporate and tax-related matters, including research, drafting, and strategic business planning.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct tax research and provide related legal guidance
Draft and review corporate and transactional agreements
Assist with M&A and other corporate transactions
Support business succession planning and execution
Draft operating agreements and review contracts
Advise on advanced estate planning matters
Qualifications
J.D. and active license to practice law (Florida or Georgia preferred, but not required)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate, tax, and transactional law
Strong understanding of M&A and business structuring
Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
