Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a global immigration law firm in seeking a Business Immigration Attorney/Law Clerk to join their team in Chicago on a long-term, onsite engagement. Candidates must be able to work fully onsite in the Chicago office, ideally 5 days per week.

Role Details
  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration: 6+ months
  • Location: Onsite in Chicago, IL
  • Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Pay Rate: $45 hourly

Position Overview
The firm is seeking either an early-career Business Immigration Attorney (0–2 years) or a post-bar Law Clerk with a strong interest in immigration law. The selected candidate will support two senior attorneys on a variety of nonimmigrant visa matters.


Responsibilities
  • Support senior attorneys with nonimmigrant visa cases, including H, J, TN, O-1, H-2A, and E-3
  • Conduct legal research and assist with drafting filings and supporting documentation
  • Communicate with clients and maintain a high level of client service
  • Manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment

Qualifications
  • 0–2 years of business immigration experience
  • Post-bar law clerks with strong interest in immigration will be considered
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing demands
  • Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction (for attorney candidates)
