The Direct Hire Division of Consilio, LLC is working with a highly regarded law firm that is seeking to hire a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their Austin, TX office. This position is not with Consilio directly; it is a direct hire, permanent opportunity with the law firm.

Our client is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support attorneys within the firm’s Real Estate practice group. This position involves assisting with complex commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing transactions, and leasing.

The ideal candidate will have prior commercial real estate experience, be proactive and well-organized, and possess a strong grasp of the work. A hybrid schedule is currently offered, depending on workload and team needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Support general commercial real estate activities by:

• Managing transaction checklists, timelines, and overall matter progress
• Ordering and reviewing title and survey materials; summarizing title commitments and exceptions
• Monitoring endorsements and survey-related items
• Coordinating with attorneys, title companies, surveyors, and other parties to resolve title and survey issues
• Conducting UCC, lien, and litigation searches
• Performing federal court searches through PACER
• Handling intellectual property searches, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights
• Reviewing search results and preparing summaries for attorney and client review
• Obtaining corporate documents and certificates of good standing

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal in a law firm setting
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written communication skills, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
• Proficiency with Windows 11, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams, with the ability to quickly learn new systems

Salary: $85,000 – $125,000
