Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a corporate client in seeking an experienced EEOC Attorney to join its legal team on a temporary, fully remote, part-time basis.
Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Indefinite
- Hours: Sporadic, up to 10 hours per week (as matters arise)
- Location: Fully remote
- Compensation: $70–$75/hour, dependent on experience
Responsibilities
- Prepare and draft responses to EEOC charges on behalf of the client
- Review and analyze HR investigation reports and supporting documentation
- Conduct any supplemental investigation necessary to support a complete and accurate response
- Develop well-reasoned, defensible position statements and supporting narratives
- Collaborate with the client’s Head of Litigation, who will review and approve final submissions
- Manage matters independently in a low-supervision, high-trust environment
Candidate Qualifications
- 5+ years of employment law experience, with a strong focus on EEOC charge handling and responses
- Demonstrated ability to independently draft and manage EEOC position statements
- Deep understanding of federal employment discrimination laws and EEOC procedures
- Excellent legal writing, analytical, and investigative skills
- Ability to work efficiently on a sporadic, as-needed basis
