Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a law firm client in seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its team in Pasadena, California. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent role for the right candidate.
Role Details
Start: ASAP
Duration: Temporary, with potential to become permanent
Hours: Full-time
Location: Onsite – Pasadena, CA
Compensation: Starting at $65/hour, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
Manage cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation
Participate in hearings and trials, providing strategic legal support and courtroom advocacy
Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and prepare detailed memoranda and reports
Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to develop case strategy and client guidance
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Track and manage case deadlines, filings, and documentation to ensure compliance with court requirements
Qualifications
Prior litigation experience required (practice area flexibility depending on candidate background)
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong client communication and interpersonal skills
Active bar license in California, in good standing, required
