Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a law firm client in seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its team in Pasadena, California. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent role for the right candidate.
Role Details
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Temporary, with potential to become permanent
- Hours: Full-time
- Location: Onsite – Pasadena, CA
- Compensation: Starting at $65/hour, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
- Manage cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation
- Participate in hearings and trials, providing strategic legal support and courtroom advocacy
- Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and prepare detailed memoranda and reports
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to develop case strategy and client guidance
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Track and manage case deadlines, filings, and documentation to ensure compliance with court requirements
Qualifications
- Prior litigation experience required (practice area flexibility depending on candidate background)
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong client communication and interpersonal skills
- Active bar license in California, in good standing, required
