Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a manufacturing client in seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Attorney to join its legal team on a fully remote, temporary engagement.

Engagement Details
  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration: 4+ months
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Location: Fully remote
  • Compensation: Starting at $90/hour, commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including:
    • Manufacturing and supply agreements
    • Facility and operations agreements
    • Services, consulting, and professional services agreements
    • Procurement and supply chain contracts
    • Transportation and logistics agreements
    • IT and technology-related agreements
  • Provide clear, practical legal guidance to internal business stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with external counterparties during negotiations
  • Identify and assess contractual risk while proposing business-oriented solutions
  • Manage multiple agreements simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Candidate Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in a law firm and/or in-house setting
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain contracting environments preferred
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing
