Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a manufacturing client in seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Attorney to join its legal team on a fully remote, temporary engagement.
Engagement Details
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 4+ months
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Location: Fully remote
- Compensation: Starting at $90/hour, commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including:
- Manufacturing and supply agreements
- Facility and operations agreements
- Services, consulting, and professional services agreements
- Procurement and supply chain contracts
- Transportation and logistics agreements
- IT and technology-related agreements
- Provide clear, practical legal guidance to internal business stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with external counterparties during negotiations
- Identify and assess contractual risk while proposing business-oriented solutions
- Manage multiple agreements simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Candidate Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in a law firm and/or in-house setting
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain contracting environments preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing
